What are the opening hours of the experience?
The Chocolate Museum in Český Krumlov is open every day (including public holidays). Monday to Sunday: 10:30 AM – 6:00 PM First tour starts at 11:00 AM – last tour starts at 5:00 PM

Is the Chocolate Museum open on public holidays?
The Chocolate Museum and the shop are open every day, including public holidays.
Can I visit the museum?
Individual visits – you can come without a reservation during the museum’s opening hours. The current opening hours are always available on our website. Children’s birthday parties, workshops, and chocolate-making activities for groups of 5 or more can be booked at: vedouci@museumkrumlov.cz Corporate and teambuilding events can be booked at: hotel.manager@svachovka.cz
How long does a visit to the museum take?
A visit to our experience center usually takes about 60 minutes.
Are there any special activities for children?
Yes, there are interactive games and a chocolate tasting.
Can I take photos during the experience?
Yes, you can take photos. We’d love to see your pictures on Instagram or Facebook. Please use the hashtag #muzeumcokoladykrumlov.
Is it possible to reserve or purchase tickets in advance?
Not yet, but we are working on it.
Can I purchase gift vouchers?
Of course. We offer gift vouchers with a value of your choice. They can be used for purchases in our shop, museum admission, children’s birthday parties, workshops, and more.
Can I bring my dog into the museum?
No. Unfortunately, animals are not allowed in the museum, with the exception of guide dogs for the visually impaired.
In which languages is the museum available?
Czech and English (subtitles).
Can I bring food and drinks into the museum?
Only bottles of water are allowed.
I am allergic to gluten, nuts, and/or lactose. Can I taste the chocolate offered in the museum?
All chocolate offered for tasting in the museum is free from gluten and nuts. Lactose is not present in our dark chocolate, which you can taste at the end of the tour.
I am allergic to gluten, nuts, and/or lactose and would like to book a workshop. What should I be aware of?
During the one-hour workshop, you can choose between milk and dark chocolate. If you are lactose intolerant, you should choose dark chocolate.Please note that a variety of toppings and chocolate decorations used during the workshop may contain lactose.
What does the tasting include?
At the end of the tour, you will receive a spoon and can serve yourself delicious 100% hot chocolate – white, milk, caramel, and 70% dark. You will taste authentic Belgian chocolate.
We would like to organize a teambuilding event
You will definitely love it. You’ll get to try working with chocolate, taste pralines, and learn interesting facts. Of course, there will also be strawberries dipped in chocolate. Is chocolate tasting included in the admission?
Yes, tastings of selected types of chocolate are included in the visit. The selection may vary depending on current availability.

Please contact us in advance – we will be happy to confirm the current accessibility options and assist you with your visit.
Can we buy chocolate at the museum?
Yes, the museum includes a shop where you can purchase chocolates, gifts, and souvenirs.
Is it possible to visit as a group or school?
Yes, we offer discounted admission for groups and schools, as well as the option of a customized program. We recommend making a reservation in advance.
